Responsibilities:
  • The Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist assists physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures and monitors and records hemodynamics.
  • Ensures equipment is functioning and troubleshoots equipment to provide quality diagnostic and therapeutic exams.
  • Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of cardiovascular and peripheral technology and hemodynamics to assist the physicians effectively.
  • Provides quality customer service to patients, families, and coworkers to create a professional and respectful environment.
  • Participates in the training and mentoring of employees and students.
Qualifications:

Job Requirements :

  • Current Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist by the ARRT
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • 1 year or more of experience working in the cath lab or interventional radiology
