Job Description
A respected hospital in Kansas City, Kansas is expanding its hospital medicine team and is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for a full-time night hospitalist position.
Position Highlights:
- Full-time, hospital-employed position
- Nights only: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
- 7-on/7-off block schedule
- 12-hour shifts
- Open ICU environment
- Practice with a high level of autonomy while collaborating with supervising physicians
- Collaborative Practice Agreement
- Opportunity to care for a diverse inpatient population at a full-service community hospital
Qualifications:
- MSN with specialization as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current Advanced Practice Nurse license
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of two years of Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner experience required
- Must be comfortable practicing autonomously in an inpatient setting
- Experience with electronic health records preferred
