ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):
· Availability by telephone for consultation.
· As requested, provide consultations for NEBH in patients with psychiatric needs.
· Attend patient care conferences when requested.
· Consult via telephone with Nursing, Case Management, Medical Staff and Affiliated Medical Staff as requested.
· Answer pages from NEBH by telephone within 60 minutes (Monday to Friday 7: 30 a.m. -6: 00 p.m.)
· Provide NEBH with vacation/travel schedule.
· Arrange phone coverage when not available because of vacation/travel.
· When requested, provide on-site consultation within 24 hours of requested consultation.
· 1 hour education conferences every 4 months for members of the Hospitalist Service (hospitalists, nurse practitioners and physician assistants).
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Valid Massachusetts MD licensure
· Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
MD / DO or equivalent

$100.00 - $200.00Anna Jaques Hospital is a 123 bed community hospital serving 17 cities and towns in the Merrimack Valley . Programs include the number one wound center in the nation, a primary stroke service, and Level III Trauma Center . Due to the dedication of our physicians, we are one of the first communities in Massachusetts to implement electronic health records, system-wide, for the safety of our patients.

The hospitals Non Invasive Vascular laboratory was accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL).
For the second year in a row, the American Association for Respiratory Care awarded the hospital its Quality Respiratory Care Recognition. The hospital had no ventilator acquired pneumonia cases during the last year.
The Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Center is the only such center to receive full accreditation from the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) in Massachusetts .
