Physical Therapist Intern

As a Physical Therapist Intern at MedStar Health, you will support licensed therapists in delivering evidence-based rehabilitation services across our Maryland-Washington, D.C. system. Under direct supervision, you'll assist with patient assessments, implement treatment plans, document progress in the EMR, and help coordinate safe discharges. You'll learn in a collaborative, patient-first environment with access to advanced clinical practices, mentorship, and structured education, building skills in therapeutic exercise, mobility training, and interdisciplinary teamwork while serving diverse communities.
