• Contract: Locum
• Rate: Industry Competitive
• Location: Central North Carolina
• Facility: Inpatient ; Open ICU
• Patient Census: Adult, ped, and newborn nursery required
• Procedures:
  • Required: Vent management, intubations, EKG interpretation
  • Preferred: Central line placement, arterial line placement, elective cardioversion, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis, suturing minor lacerations
• Coverage:
  • Physician: 8:00pm-8:00am
  • Support: 4-6 RN s
• Call: N/A
• EMR System: Meditech

• Certification:
  • BC in FM; sees adults, pediatrics and newborn nursery patients with NRP certification or IM and PEDS BC physician
  • Hospitalist that is BC in PEDS; that sees pediatric and newborn nursery patients or BC in FM and sees pediatric patients and newborn nursery with NRP certification
• License: Active North Carolina upon presentation
• Life Certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS, PALS
