As Medical Director, you will partner with physician and administrative leadership to advance clinical excellence, expand access to care, and help guide the development of one of Michigan's newest behavioral health hospitals.

Today, University of Michigan Health Sparrow provides adult and geriatric inpatient programs supported by partial hospitalization, day treatment, and outpatient behavioral health services.
In 2028, UM Health Sparrow will open a new 64-bed Behavioral Health Hospital, expanding adult and geriatric services while introducing child and adolescent inpatient psychiatry for the first time in the Lansing region. This position offers the rare opportunity to help build a new hospital, influence program development, recruit future physician leaders, and establish the clinical culture of a growing regional behavioral health system.
