AtlantiCare, southeastern New Jersey s largest health system and a recipient of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Nurse Virtualist / Inboxologist to join our innovative Primary Care team.

This full-time opportunity offers a unique hybrid clinical structure, with 0.6 FTE dedicated to virtual patient care and 0.4 FTE focused on clinical inbox management. The APN will help expand patient access, strengthen continuity of care and provide meaningful support to Primary Care providers across the health system.

Your Impact

• Virtual Patient Care: Provide timely, high-quality care to patients through AtlantiCare s virtual-care platform.
• Clinical Inbox Support: Manage clinical inboxes on behalf of Primary Care providers, helping ensure patient needs are addressed efficiently and appropriately.
• Care Coordination: Review patient messages, test results and clinical concerns while coordinating follow-up care with physicians, APPs and support teams.
• Patient Access: Help patients receive appropriate guidance and treatment without unnecessary delays in care.
• Provider Support: Reduce administrative and clinical inbox burden, allowing Primary Care providers to focus more fully on direct patient care.
• Continuity of Care: Support consistent communication, follow-up and coordination across AtlantiCare s Primary Care network.
• Clinical Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses and operational leaders in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Innovation: Contribute to the continued development and expansion of AtlantiCare s virtual-care delivery model.

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will be an experienced and highly organized Advanced Practice Nurse who is comfortable providing care independently in a virtual environment. The APN should demonstrate strong clinical judgment, communication and time-management skills, along with the ability to prioritize patient needs and collaborate effectively across care teams.
