This is an opportunity for a neurologist who wants to build strong outpatient practice while working alongside a broader network of neuroscience specialists to expand access and strengthen neurological care across southern New Jersey.
Our initial focus is Atlantic County, our primary service area. As services grow, we will continue extending access into Cape May County and Southern Ocean County through a collaborative regional model that supports continuity, specialty expertise, and coordinated care.
Your PracticeThis is primarily an outpatient neurology position. We are looking for a physician who enjoys seeing patients in the clinic and wants to help grow neurological services in the community.
We welcome general neurologists as well as fellowship-trained physicians/Advanced Focus Areas with outpatient interests including.
Physicians completing fellowships early in their careers are encouraged to apply when they are interested in building an outpatient practice.
Building Neuroscience Care Across the RegionAtlantiCare is building a more connected Neurosciences Service Line that brings together outpatient neurology, hospital-based neurological care, stroke services, neurodiagnostics, neurosurgery, spine, pain management, rehabilitation, and other neuroscience services.
Primary Service Area Atlantic CountyOur first priority is strengthening access throughout Atlantic County, with outpatient services centered around the Egg Harbor Township/Mainland and Atlantic City areas. The goal is to give patients easier access to general and specialty neurological care close to home.
Secondary Service Area Cape May County & Southern Ocean CountyAs services become more stable and provider capacity grows, we plan to continue expanding access into Cape May County and Southern Ocean County, including communities surrounding Cape May Court House and Manahawkin based on patient need and demand.
Physicians joining during this stage will have the opportunity to help shape how outpatient neuroscience services grow across the region.
