Coulee Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated Labor and Delivery RN to join our amazing team of nurses. This OB RN will primarily be responsible for caring for obstetric patients when they present for care. Candidates must be able to work quickly and efficiently in stressful environments, while balancing and addressing patient concerns appropriately and with compassion in accordance with CMCs mission, vision and values.
Coulee Medical Center is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital that continues to offer obstetrical care. The OB RN is responsible for the laboring care of an average of 4-5 patients/month, as well as performing NSTs and assessing pregnant women.
We are also willing to train the right candidate with acute care/medical/surgical experience, to obstetrics in an internship program. This candidate will need to have strong acute care, medical/surgical experience and a strong desire to further their skillset into obstetrics.
Minimum certifications required are BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and EFM. For candidates who are not yet trained in obstetrics, NRP and EFM will be obtained during the training period. Benefits/Salary: Per Diem employees are not eligible for benefits, but will receive Paid Sick Leave accrual (.025/hr.). Official salary range to be determined upon position and contract terms.
Pay/Grade Range: The pay grade range for this position has been finalized for the facility according to an evaluation of the roles’ duties and requirements. The selected candidate will be placed within the appropriate range based on job knowledge, skills, education and experience.

CMC is a progressive, not-for-profit, 25 bed critical access hospital, located in rural Eastern Washington’s Grand Coulee Dam Area.
Coulee Medical Center boasts a state-of-the-art new facility built in 2011 that offers patients the highest quality of care with services on-site including Lab, Radiology, Family Medicine, Obstetrics, Urgent Care, Trauma Level IV Emergency Services, Surgical Services, Outpatient Services, Inpatient and Long Term Care, as well as Physical Therapy. We have two rural health clinics, one on-campus and the other located 25 miles to the south in Coulee City. CMC serves four counties and a population of approximately 8,000 people, with 6 physicians and 7 mid-levels on staff. We also host visiting specialty physicians providing orthopedic, podiatry, cardiology, oncology, and sleep medicine services.
Our care extends to not just the five area communities of Electric City, Grand Coulee, Coulee Dam, Elmer City, and Coulee City, but also into the rolling wheat fields of outlying areas covering more than 50 miles in all directions and including the Colville Tribal Reservation to the north.
