Radiology Technician – Total Heathcare/Russell Urgent Care

Job Description

Performs age specific diagnostic radiographic procedures utilizing the necessary independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply ionizing radiation and contrast administration as ordered in order to obtain diagnostic radiographs. MUST provide excellent customer service at all times.

Qualifications

Education Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology. Experience One year diagnostic radiology experience required. Three years diagnostic radiology experience preferred Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations CPR/BLS Certification within 90 days of hire. Must be a Registered Technologist in good standing with ARRT. Equipment, Tools, Work Aids Diagnostic Radiographic equipment including PAC System, EMR System, Windows, General Office Equipment, Multi-line Telephone System, Glucose Meter, CBC Machine, Urinalysis Reader, Hemoglobin A1c Machine, Centrifuge, Immprint Specialized Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of radiographic examinations (age specific). Knowledge of radiographic equipment operation. Knowledge of Radiation Safety. Knowledge of patient transportation methods. Laboratory equipment.

Monday-Thursday 7:30-4:30 and Friday 7:30-12:30
