They also contribute to budget control by minimizing supply use and overtime. This position acts as a liaison between staff, physicians, patients, and family members, ensuring effective communication and interaction within the Radiology department. |
Technical:- Have the ability to perform a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation.
Budget:- Keep supply use to a minimal and maintain overtime to 3% or less.
Liaison:- Serves as a liaison between staff, physicians, patients, and family members to ensure effective communication/interaction.
- Ensures high quality health care is delivered within the Radiology department by effectively interacting and cooperating with providers.
Reporting:- Prepares and presents patients reports/projects as required.
- Maintains that exams and charges are correct on daily basis.
Regulation:- Must have the training and experience to perform in the modality of two or more of the following modalities: CT, MRI, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine or Diagnostic Radiology, or work as NMMCI Urgent Care techs performing laboratory testing and routine radiography after hours and on weekends.
- Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures/Guidelines.
- Complies with applicable Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guideline/regulations/laws/statues.
