Position Highlights
Job Duties:
Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the Health Unit Coordinator provides direct, personal care and services to patients in the facility which meets their physical, intellectual, social and spiritual needs on a daily basis; additionally, duties will include various clerical and reception responsibilities at the nursing station and surrounding environment.
Education/Certifications:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Completion and maintenance of certification and training requirements as established by the Minnesota Department of Health for registered nursing assistants required. BLS certified or must be obtained within 1 week of hire. Certification of NRP Essentials required or must be obtained within one year of hire.
