Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join a collaborative medical team in Anchorage, Alaska. This position offers a 7 on/7 off block schedule with 10-hour shifts, providing an excellent work-life balance in a dynamic inpatient setting.
The provider will be responsible for managing medical care for patients ages 5+, including admissions, follow-ups, diagnostics, and discharges, while working closely with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team.

Responsibilities:
Perform initial medical admission evaluations and complete history & physicals (H&Ps) within 24 hours of admission
Conduct follow-up visits, ongoing assessments, and discharge planning
Manage diagnostics, treatments, and medical care for patients ages 5+
Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and support staff to develop integrated treatment plans
Co-manage patients with complex medical and behavioral health comorbidities
Provide medical consultations and recommend appropriate diagnostic testing and treatment plans
Educate patients and families on medical conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications
Qualifications:
Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
Active or eligible Alaska Nurse Practitioner license
Experience in hospitalist, inpatient, or behavioral health settings preferred
Strong clinical, communication, and collaboration skills
