Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist
Hanover, PA - Salary: $80,000 annually
Direct Hire Opportunity | Full-Time
Manpower is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist for a direct hire opportunity in Hanover, PA. This position will lead safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance programs while promoting a culture of safety throughout a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage OSHA, EPA, ISO, and environmental compliance programs.
- Develop and deliver safety and environmental training.
- Maintain EHS policies, procedures, permits, and regulatory reporting.
- Conduct safety audits, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
- Oversee hazardous and non-hazardous waste records.
- Serve as liaison with regulatory agencies and coordinate audits.
- Manage Workers' Compensation reporting and case management.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of PA hazardous waste regulations preferred.
- Experience with Workers' Compensation management.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
