Locum Neurosurgeon Need in California
A 423-bed, level 2 trauma facility 38 miles from San Francisco has a need for a Locum Neurosurgeon. There would be procedures on both the cranial side and the spinal side. No aneurysm work; those cases would be sent to a Level I trauma center. Per the facility, "The surgical procedures are all common to Level II Trauma centers."
-24-hour call, 1-2 weeks per month for up to a year
-Will typically come in at 7 to round on any patients, then get status reports from the ER
-Typically 1-2 cases per 24 hours
-Paid or reimbursed travel and lodging
-Paid malpractice
