Position Highlights
The Pharmacist is responsible for accurately dispensing medications and intravenous solutions, providing drug education, and supporting the pharmacy's quality improvement program. This position delivers patient-centered care in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards while fostering a positive environment for patients, providers, and coworkers. The Pharmacist supports St. Michael's Hospital Avera's commitment to excellence through the values of hospitality, compassion, and stewardship.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directs the work of pharmacy technicians and aides.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Graduated from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current South Dakota Pharmacy License.
