Job Description
- Aug 11-13: 7:00a-3:00p (8 hours) + weeknight beeper call 3:00p-7:00a (14 hours)
- Sept 1-4: 7:00a-3:00p (8 hours) + weeknight beeper call 3:00p-7:00a (14 hours)
- Sept 5-7: 24-hour call, 7:00a-7:00a (Sept 7 is a holiday)
- Sept 8: 7:00a-3:00p (8 hours) + weeknight beeper call 3:00p-7:00a (14 hours)
- Ongoing need: 4 days/month, 7:00a-3:00p plus call 3:00p-7:00a
- Patients/day: 10-15 CVICU/step-down + 1-2 surgeries
- Patient population: Adult/gerontology
- EMR: Cerner
- Hospital size: 199 beds
- Special procedures: Temporary pacemaker removal, chest tube removal, IABP removal, A-line placement
- Required skills: Recent cardiothoracic surgery experience; proficient with EVH
- Call: Required (weeknight beeper call; 24-hour call on select dates)
- EMR: Cerner
- Certifications: AZ license, DEA, NCCPA, ACLS, BLS
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in cardiothoracic surgery with EVH
- Vaccinations: COVID-19 and Flu required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
- Credentialing timeframe: 30 days
