Practice Settings: Inpatient and outpatient surgical coverage (20% inpatient / 80% outpatient)
Non-Operating Room Anesthesia (NORA)
Patient volume: 3 Rooms, maximum of 4 at one time, Physician Direction Model
Support Staff: CRNAs; care team model with supervision; supervising CRNAs is required
Full-scope anesthesia care, including care to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures
Required Procedures/Cases: All - Thoracic, Neuro, Cardio, Trauma, Pediatrics, OB
Requirements
Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
Successful completion of an ACGME approved residency
Certifications: PALS and ACLS through American Heart Association
Active MI License (preferred) or IMLC
Controlled Substance License
Case Logs: Demonstrated current competence with at least 100 hospital anesthesiology cases within the last 12 months, reflective of requested privileges
Credentialing Timeframe: Typically 30 days, prioritized based on start date
