Length of Assignment: September 16 (10:30P) 24 (7:30A); October 11 (10:30P) 20 (7:30A); December 10 (10:30P) 16 (7:30A), with potential for additional future dates
Schedule: Night shifts only, 10:30P 7:30A (9-hour shifts)
Credentialing: days
Patient Volume: Approximately 2 patients per hour; annual ED volume of 42,000 at the primary campus
Procedures: Full-scope Emergency Medicine procedures (facility-specific privileges available upon request)
Setting: Hospital
EMR: Epic
Licence Needed: Indiana preferred; IMLC candidates will be considered
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CSR; ABEM/AOBEM Board Certified or Board Eligible (board certification required within 5 years of residency)
Details:
Hospital-based Emergency Medicine opportunity focused on overnight coverage in a collaborative emergency department. Providers will work alongside double and triple physician coverage until 2:00 AM, with single-provider coverage from 2:00 6:00 AM. An additional emergency physician at a nearby affiliated location is available for consultation as needed. Ideal candidates are confident practicing independently overnight in a moderate-volume emergency department while maintaining strong teamwork and communication.
