Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 3 months of travel experience is preferred.
• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.
• 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a South Carolina license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - South Atlantic Division.

Additional Details:
Preferred Skills/Experience: - One previous successful travel nursing assignment. - 30 months RN or LPN nursing experience preferred.
Required Skills/Experience: - Ability to care for 6 telemetry patients/post-cardiac procedures including PCI, PPM, ICD, or ablations. - Proficient in reading telemetry strips. - Plans of care every shift, discharge planning, and patient education. - Phlebotomy. - Administer breathing treatments outside of the ICU, including inhalers and nebulizers. - Foley catheter care and maintenance with nurse-driven protocols for removal. - Experience with telemetry and post-cath lab patients. - Management of cardiac drips (Cardizem, Amio, Nitro, Dobutamine).
Unit Details: - Uses i-mobile phones for each care team member, mobile computer workstations on wheels, Mobilab for lab drawers, and Alaris IV pumps.
Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - Holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
Floating Requirements: - Travelers are first to float and may be sent to the emergency department to care for inpatient holds, the telemetry monitoring room, or PCU.
10 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
