Opportunity:
Physician - Psychiatry
Job Details:
- Full-time coverage needed primarily Monday through Friday in a clinic setting
- Call coverage required on weekends and evenings for both inpatient and outpatient units
- Maximum of 18 patient encounters per day
- Provide inpatient services on an acute psychiatric unit
- Provide outpatient office and clinic-based psychiatric services
- Work with patients presenting with anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, and organic disorders
- Experience with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint application preferred
- ECT experience preferred; facility offers both TMS and ECT services
- Board certification required with BLS certification
- Active Minnesota medical license required
- Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
- Locum to permanent hire opportunity will be considered
