Opportunity:
Physician - Nurse Practitioner - Family Medicine
Job Details:
- Temporary coverage position needed until a permanent provider is able to start, with a tentative start date of August 3, 2026 and an estimated minimum need of 12 weeks
- MD/DO or NP/PA accepted for this role - only 1 provider needed
- See an average of 18-22 patients per day in an Adult/Geriatric practice population
- Work schedule is full-time, Monday through Thursday - no on-call or weekend requirements
- 2-3 exam rooms available; documentation via EPIC EMR
- Not responsible for supervising other healthcare providers
- No backup coverage for the ED required
- Perform required general procedures including evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues
- Perform required gynecology procedures including pelvic exam and Pap smear
- Perform required occupational medicine procedures including disability exams
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (must achieve board certification within 3 years of finishing) required
- Minimum 1 year of primary care experience required
- Active DEA and active Michigan license required
- BLS certification required
- Must be local to Michigan - drive-in provider required
- Self-Query NPDB report must be dated within 30 days of the presentation date
- Temporary privileges available with an estimated credentialing timeframe of 10 business days
