Key Job Details Pennsylvania Healthcare Opportunity 
- Setting: Inpatient drug/alcohol detox and residential treatment facility
- Employment Type: Locum tenens (contract/part-time)
- Duration: 13 weeks with option to extend
- Shifts per Week: 3
- Shift Duration: 1 2 hours per day
- Hours per Week: Approximately 6 (may vary based on patient intake)
- Start Date: September 22, 2025
- Schedule: Flexible daytime hours; occasional weekend or virtual coverage may be needed
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Pennsylvania
- DEA and NPI numbers required
- BLS/ACLS certification
- Minimum 1 2 years of clinical experience (no new grads)
- Experience in addiction medicine, detox, or behavioral health settings preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Kipu experience a plus)
- Conduct initial wellness exams and health & physicals for new detox admissions
- Review and finalize detox orders; manage medication protocols for inpatient care
- Perform weekly follow-up visits for patients in residential treatment
- Respond to patient sick calls and collaborate with nursing staff for ongoing clinical support
- Provide orders for admissions and address emergent needs as reported by nursing staff
- Document all patient interactions and care plans in the EMR system
- Participate in occasional virtual check-ins as needed
