Lake Regional Healthcare is currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver the best possible nursing care in LRH’s patient-focused setting.
SUMMARY:
Under the clinical supervision of the Licensed Nurse, functions as a member of the healthcare team to provide patient care to Medical/Surgical patients. Provides basic nursing care to patient within the Nursing Assistant’s scope of practice that includes actions that meet psychosocial and physical needs. Care opportunities include a wide range of diagnosis and ages.
EDUCATION &/or EXPERIENCE:
Completion of the 75-hour nurse aide course, currently a student in an accredited nursing program, current EMT certification, or completion of the hospital-sponsored nurse aide class. One year of medical/surgical hospital experience preferred.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS:
Nursing Assistant certification, Basic Life Support, Adult/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporting, or ability to obtain in accordance with the education policy.
