Wake Forest Emergency Providers, affiliated with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and Wake Forest School of Medicine, delivers high-quality emergency care across Hospital Emergency Departments and Free-Standing Emergency Departments throughout the Greater Charlotte Market and Central and Northwest North Carolina. Our APPs practice in settings that offer a strong sense of community and teamwork, while benefiting from the clinical resources, academic collaboration, and innovation of a leading nonprofit health system.

  • Weekends: Approximately two full weekends per month
  • 24-bed Emergency Department with modern resources and treatment spaces.
  • 109-bed inpatient hospital 
  • Annual ED Volume: 30,000

Stanly is a community hospital with comprehensive inpatient services, including:

  • Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
  • Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN)

  • Orthopedics
  • Gastroenterology (GI)
  • Cardiology
  • Tele-neurology

Licensure: Must have NC PA/NP license (NPs must be ENP boarded or eligible), BLS, ACLS before starting.

What we offer:

  • Annual CME allowance of $3,000.00 and 50 hours paid.
