JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: Board Certified - ABOG
- Licenses: Active VA license
- DEA: Active VA DEA and CSR
- Certifications: BLS
- Experience: Procedure logs showing minimum 50 deliveries and 15 C-sections in last 12 months
- Other Qualifications: Self-query NPDB report at presentation; Clean background required for temps
- Provide 24-hour call coverage (7a-7a) including rounding in the morning at the hospital
- Cover clinic shifts (8:30a-3p) with approximately 20 patients scheduled
- Manage unreferred patients presenting for deliveries and rounding in collaboration with the Laborist
- Perform required procedures including C-sections, vaginal deliveries, D&Cs, and emergency gynecological surgeries
- Respond to calls from answering service with minimal callback rate (less than 1 per 24hr shift)
