What You ll Do
- Provide outpatient oncology care including consultations and follow-ups
- Assist with chemotherapy and other treatment protocols
- Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and support staff to develop and implement care plans
- Participate in clinic operations and patient management in a multidisciplinary team
- Support clinical trials and new treatment modalities at the cancer center
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EPIC)
- Respond to urgent patient needs, maintaining high standards of compassionate care
What You Need
Required: - Oregon Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- DEA registration
- Proven experience in oncology or medical oncology
- Ability to perform biopsies and manage complex cases
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred: - Prior experience in outpatient oncology settings
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
- Knowledge of clinical trial processes
