We areseeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Medical Oncology Physician for alocum tenens opportunity in Richmond, Indiana. This position offers aconsistent weekday schedule with shared call responsibilities while workingalongside a collaborative oncology team dedicated to providing high-qualitycancer care.

- Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
- Mondays Off
- Practice Setting: Outpatient Oncology Clinic with Call Coverage
CallResponsibilities
- Night call on select weekdays (schedule to be determined)
- Weekend call rotation (schedule to be determined)
- Call responsibilities include serving as both the primary and backup physician for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
ClinicalResponsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions.
- Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies.
- Provide follow-up care and ongoing disease management.
- Review laboratory, pathology, and diagnostic imaging results.
- Collaborate with APPs, infusion staff, nurses, pharmacists, and other specialists to deliver comprehensive cancer care.
- Provide physician support for APPs during assigned call coverage.
- Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology
- Active Indiana medical license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required if requesting conscious sedation privileges
- Current DEA registration (if applicable)
