This position would be (2) week a month of hospitalist coverage in our UT Health Pittsburg hospital.

The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine is the first medical school in East Texas and the seventh in The University of Texas System. Construction is currently underway on a five-story, 248,000-square-foot Medical Education Building (MEB) in Tyler s Midtown District. Connected by a skybridge to UT Health Tyler, the MEB will support interdisciplinary education for medical students and resident training. It will also aid as part of a medical education program expansion throughout the UT Health East Texas Health System.

About this Position:
- This position is 7 days on and 7 days off.
- 7am - 7pm
- No procedures needed
- NO ICU
- Average daily census 10-15 average 2-3 admits /day
- Night cross coverage by remote APP
- ER runs Codes
- Opportunity to pick up extra shifts if desired at our regional facilities
- Teaching responsibilities will include Rural Family Medicine Residents.

- BE/BC in Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (ABFM)
- Ability to obtain a Texas Medical License
