Emergency advanced practice coverage in a critical access setting
Supervising physician relationship is required
Broad Emergency Medicine skill set is required
Required Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Active unrestricted Arkansas NP or PA license
Board certification: AANP or ANCC for NP. NCCPA for PA.
DEA with Arkansas address and prescriptive authority
ACLS, PALS, ATLS
Two years of case logs
Two years of CME documentation
Credentialing and Onboarding
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 61 to 90 days
Vaccination and screening requirements include TB, flu, COVID, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, and Tdap
