Job Summary: Mission Hospital western North Carolina s leading regional health system is seeking a dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our experienced Level III/IV NICU team in beautiful Asheville. Both experienced and newly graduated NNPs encouraged to apply.
Qualified candidates - Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program with an NNP specialty
- Current RN and APRN licensure in North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain).
- National NNP certification (NCC).
- PALS or NRP certification
- Minimum 1 2 years of NICU experience preferred; new NNP graduates with strong NICU backgrounds will be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high acuity, fast paced clinical settings.
Role Highlights - 12-hour shifts days or nights
- Responsibilities include comprehensive H&P, management and treatment of at-risk newborns, delivery room attendance and infant stabilization
