• Position: Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

• Location: Eureka, California
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
• Lunch: 1 hour
• Weekly Commitment: Full-time coverage, approximately 35-40 hours per week
• Patient Volume: Approximately 12 encounters per shift
• Coverage Type: Inpatient and outpatient cardiology care
• Setting: Clinic and hospital-based care
• Start Date: September 1, 2026
• Duration: Ongoing need
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,440 - $3,690

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in good standing
• Board certification required; board eligible applicants are not preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of cardiology experience required
• Recent inpatient cardiology rounding experience within the last 2 years required
• Current hospital clinical activity in the specialty preferred within the last 2 years
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• DEA required
• Current CV must be uploaded with complete hospital affiliation history
• Gaps in work history greater than 3 months must be explained

• Provide cardiology care for both inpatient and outpatient patients
• Conduct daily rounding and support continuity of care across the cardiology service line
• Evaluate, manage, and follow up with patients in a clinic and hospital setting
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to support timely, high-quality cardiovascular care
• Maintain clear documentation and communicate effectively with the clinical team
• Manage an average of approximately 12 patient encounters per shift
• Work independently within the scope of practice while supporting department goals
