Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

A well established urgent care clinic in southern New Mexico is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join its growing team. This community offers a relaxed lifestyle, affordable living, and easy access to larger metro areas, approximately an hour from Las Cruces and within a reasonable drive to El Paso, Tucson, and Albuquerque, making it an ideal blend of small town comfort and urban convenience. Transportation will be provided from Las Cruces!

Position Details

• Full time position
• 12 hour shifts (additional shift options may open with new clinic locations)
• Clinic hours:
  • Monday-Saturday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • Sunday: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing physical examinations
• Obtaining medical histories
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic and laboratory tests
• Managing orthopedic injuries, including splinting and casting
• Providing care consistent with Urgent Care, Family Practice, and Work Comp settings

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
• Must be confident working independently
• Family Nurse Practitioner certification required; must be experienced treating patients from pediatrics through geriatrics
• DOT Certified or willing to obtain
