Full-time: 35 Direct Patient Care Hours
About the Opportunity:
- Our Gettysburg neurology clinic is expanding due to an increase in patient referrals
- Join another full-time Neurologist and several part-time colleagues in this well-established practice
- Located in a shared suite with pediatric neurology, interventional pain and physiatry
- Call is shared with other regional practices, 1:8 and strictly outpatient call
- Option to work 4 ten-hour days, Fridays are required
- EMG lab, imaging, infusion and labs on site

Duties and ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:- Establishes, maintains and administers policies and procedures, objectives, quality management programs, safety,environmental and infection control standards.
- Identifies patient and/or provider needs and develops quality programs to meet those needs. Ensures delivery of quality services for patients.
- Develops and administers department continuing education programs. Participates in the education of house staff and Medical Staff continuing education activities.
- Provides clinical supervision to physician and non-physician staff within the department.
Common Expectations:- Participates on appropriate committees and attends and/or conducts meetings as required.
- Consults with resident staff and/or Hospital staff physicians as needed.
- Participates in Medical Staff activities as required and/or as requested.
- Observes the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of the Hospital and the Medical Staff.
- Provides direct patient care services and otherwise performs the duties of a Rehabilitation Medicine Staff Physician.
- Demonstrates a commitment to patient, visitor and staff by: complying with all applicable safety regulations; learning the impact of medical errors and methodology that will lead to reduction of errors; reporting actual and potential errors, as well as hazardous conditions; identifying opportunities to standardize processes and "error proof" systems that will lead to increased safety; and participating in safety education programs and root cause analyses as required.
- Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.

Courses and Training:- Diplomate of the American Board of Neurology or the American Osteopathic Board of Medicine. Upon Hire Required and
- Completion of a Neurology residency. Upon Hire Required and
- Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of York Hospital. Upon Hire Required
