Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Soarian is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - United Health Services.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: - Graduation from an accredited School for Respiratory Therapy.

Required Skills/Experience: - Critical care, NICU, and V60 BiPAP/980 Puritan Bennett Ventilators experience required.

Unit Details: - Provides respiratory therapy services for inpatients, outpatients, UHS staff and employees, and affiliated UHS community groups as needed. - Performs aerosol therapy, CPT/Flutter/PEP mask therapy, incentive spirometry, MDI therapy, suctioning, extubation, oxygen therapy, BiPAP/CPAP management, cough assist/vest therapy, high-flow cannula/humidifier therapy, pulmonary function screens, pulse oximetry, adult and pediatric EKGs, adult/pediatric/neonatal BLS, mechanical ventilation, arterial puncture and blood gas analysis, blood gas lab quality control, and fit testing in coordination with Employee Health. - Uses MAK and McKesson. - Participates in external patient transports.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend.

7 days maximum time off

2 references required from within the last 2 years

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
