Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our General Adult Psychiatrist you will join our dynamic Psychiatric Associates team providing outpatient care at Lasting Hope Recovery Center in Omaha, Nebraska . Here you will join a team of psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, psychologists, licensed social workers and patient care navigators. Whether you are looking for inpatient or outpatient practice models, the CHI Health network has the flexibility to fit your career goals.

In this role you would have a consistent Monday - Friday schedule, with the flexibility to pursue a hybrid practice balancing inpatient and outpatient care, if desired. Your core focus would be providing tailored, personal, and coordinated treatment to patients experiencing a wide array of mental and behavioral conditions. Beyond direct patient care, you would engage in minor academic activities. You would be supported by a robust leadership team committed to professional growth and longevity, this role offers a stable and rewarding environment for a psychiatrist to thrive.

Success in this role is measured through a combination of your productivity, evidence in meeting clinical benchmarks, and effectively collaborating with the multidisciplinary team. Further indicators of success include high patient satisfaction scores, reflecting the personalized and coordinated care you provide, and consistent adherence to evidence-based medicine guidelines, ensuring the most effective and up-to-date treatments for your patients.

We are offering a guaranteed two-year base salary, a starting bonus, and relocation assistance for new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Job Requirements
Required
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology - General Adult Psychiatry
  • Active or Eligible to obtain an unrestricted license in Iowa
  • DEA in good standing with no restrictions
  • BLS
  • A record of excellence in clinical care and education
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to providing high quality, compassionate care

Last Hope Recovery Center offers a pillar of a comprehensive service line providing services across the state of NE and southwest IA, including a full continuum of services including inpatient, outpatient, partial, residential and integrated primary care. Evidence-based practices, including Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) and Peer Support Specialists are important elements of the treatment model.
