Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (Family Practice)

Position Overview
Outpatient primary care, acute care, and wellness visits for employees and eligible family members
Focus on wellness and prevention, acute episodic care, and chronic condition management
Typical volume: up to 3 patients per hour
Patient population: age 2 and older
Scope of Practice (may include)
Primary care and acute episodic visits
Workers' comp injury evaluation and treatment, return to work and fit for duty determinations
Occupational health services including pre employment physicals, drug and alcohol testing, audiometry, spirometry, respirator clearance
Suturing and laceration repair, splinting, minor fracture care
EMR
Athena experience preferred but not required
Required Qualifications
Active Iowa license (NP)
National certification (NP)
DEA required
Minimum of 2 years of experience
Comfortable seeing pediatric patients (age 2 and older)
Credentialing and Onboarding Items (must be provided)
CV

BLS
Background check documentation and attestations as required

Online OSHA and HIPAA certifications must be completed prior to start (paid up to 1.5 hours)
