- Licenses/Certs: MA license, PALS, BLS, DEA, COVID and Flu vaccines (or approved exemptions)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years pediatric acute care experience, certification as Peds NP or Pediatric Acute Care NP, expertise in pain management
Pay & Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $159.46/hour (regular rate), with overtime at 1.5x after 12 hours and double on holidays

What You ll Do
- Provide inpatient pediatric pain management support post-surgery (cancer pain, sickle cell, etc.)
- Monitor critically ill patients, including weaning from sedatives and on PCA/epidural pumps
- Collaborate with attending physicians and charge APRNs during shifts
- Conduct assessments, manage pain, and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Document all patient care accurately in EPIC EMR system
- Support the care of patients on the pain service, ensuring high-quality, empathetic care
- Engage in weekends and night shifts with flexibility for preferred schedules
What You Need
- Board certification as a Pediatric NP or Pediatric Acute Care NP with relevant experience in pain management
- Massachusetts license (or must obtain prior to start)
- PALS certification, BLS, DEA registration
- Minimum of 2 years pediatric acute care experience
- Excellent assessment skills, clear communication, and ability to work independently and as part of a team

This position is based in a leading facility in Boston, MA, specializing in inpatient care for pediatric pain management.
