Pediatrics Nurse Practitioner

Patient Volume:

• 26 patients scheduled per day
• patients seen on average per day

Note: FQHCs typically schedule a higher number of patients to account for frequent no-shows, which is common in these settings. Procedures:

• The Pediatric NP must be flexible and willing to cover different locations as needed.
• This position is unique in that, rather than a full mix of visits, the pediatric provider will be seeing a majority of physicals for patients ages 18 and under.
• Responsibilities include immunizations, health education, preventive care, and age-appropriate screenings.

EMR: Has transitioned to EPIC EMR License Needed: CA Certifications Needed: BC Relevant Experience/Skill Set Needed: FQHC experience and EPIC EMR Other additional pertinent information:

• Client requires a 5-day work week for this position. The schedule is not flexible.
• Overtime: Please note that overtime will not be paid unless pre-approved by both the clinic and the scheduling team. Providers will not be compensated for hours worked beyond 40/week without prior authorization.
