Job Responsibilities
Performs all duties competently maintaining a safe and clean environment. Provides thorough, timely, routine cleaning of Operating Room suites between cases and at the end of the day, e.g. tables, floors, surfaces, docks the Neptune fluid management system (at least by the end of the day, or when full) equipment, trash, etc.
Cleans and reports equipment that is out of order to the charge nurse
Assists nursing staff in performance safety/restraint measures according to policy
Always reports to charge nurse any observations, patient complaints, and other pertinent information regarding the condition of patients as needed.
Handles and disposes of linen and trash using principles of Infection Control according to hospital policy
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
1. High School diploma or GED preferred
2. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both in writing and verbally in English.
3. Ability to adapt to fast-paced environment
4. Basic familiarity with computers
Pay Range:
$20.00 - $26.92The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
Anna Jaques Hospital is a 123 bed community hospital serving 17 cities and towns in the Merrimack Valley . The Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Center is the only such center to receive full accreditation from the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) in Massachusetts .
