Position Highlights

  • Full-time, employed interventional cardiology opportunity with Carondelet Medical Group
  • Work week of 35-45 hours during clinic weeks; transitioning to Q4 hospital call rotation
  • Clinic census of 24-30 patients; hospital census of 10-25 patients
  • NP coverage supports hospital rounding
  • High-volume Cath Lab performing 300-400 procedures annually, specializing in high-risk PCI and complex coronary interventions
  • Full atherectomy suite: laser, rotational, orbital, and intravascular lithotripsy
  • Mechanical circulatory support capabilities including Impella, Tandem Heart, and ECMO
  • Dedicated cardiogenic shock program serving as the primary regional referral hub
  • On-site structural cardiology program and comprehensive CT surgery backup
  • Active interventional cardiology fellowship program with mentorship opportunities
  • Participation available in multiple ongoing clinical research trials
  • Centralized support services: billing, credentialing, HR, compliance, marketing, and business development
  • Practice spans two acclaimed hospital campuses St. Joseph's Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital

Candidate Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board certified or board eligible in Interventional Cardiology
  • Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain one
