What You ll Do
- Provide specialized critical care management for pediatric patients in a Level II & III NICU, pediatric unit, and ICU
- Conduct rounds alongside residents and handle overnight call duties during weekends
- Manage acute emergencies such as cardiac arrests, respiratory failure, sepsis, and trauma
- Perform procedures including chest tube insertion, central line placement, ICP evaluations, and hemodialysis
- Use advanced equipment and EMR systems (Epic) to document patient care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including radiology, surgery, cardiology, and neurology
What You Need
Required: - Board Certification in Critical Care Medicine
- Active South Carolina medical license
- PALS, ACLS, BLS certifications
- DEA license
- Minimum of 1 year relevant experience
- Ability to work 24-hour shifts and handle high-acuity pediatric cases
Preferred: - Experience in pediatric ICU or emergency settings
- Flexibility to respond to acute medical and surgical conditions
