Job Details:
- Locum Tenens call coverage needed for July 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9
- Must hold an active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC
- MD or DO degree required from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery
- Must have completed an accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency
- Required current experience: At least 100 general orthopedic procedures reflective of the scope of privileges requested within the past 12 months, OR demonstrated successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency or clinical fellowship within the past 12 months
- Perform arthroscopy procedures
- Total joint replacement including knee (required), hip (preferred), and other joints (preferred)
- Joint revision or repair of shoulder, hip, and knee (all required), and other joints (preferred)
- Tendon release and repair procedures required
- Peripheral nerve surgery required
- Spinal procedures with and without instrumentation (cervical, thoracic, and lumbar) preferred
- Percutaneous disc surgery preferred
- Hand procedures preferred
- Level 1 trauma facility
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 10 days
- Nearest airport is Pittsburgh, PA
- Hospital will arrange lodging accommodations
