• Location: Hastings, Pennsylvania (Zip: 16646) - coverage may include Roaring Spring and surrounding central PA communities
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens / Per Diem Emergency Medicine Physician
• Start Date: May 1, 2026 (with ongoing dates available in May, June, July)
• Shifts: Multiple 12-hour day and night ED shifts available
• Facility Trauma Level: Level 4 (rural emergency department)
• Department Beds: 6-9 (varies by facility)

• Active Pennsylvania medical license OR participation in the IMLC with LOQ (Pennsylvania)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, or Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with documented Emergency Department experience
• Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical ED experience (rural/Level 4 trauma experience a plus)
• Current certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS (PALS/ATLS may be waived if Board Certified in Emergency Medicine)
• Clean malpractice history/NPDB preferred
• Ability to cover multiple dates and flexibility to work at Hastings and nearby Roaring Spring locations when needed

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages in the ED (adult and pediatric emergency care)
• Evaluate and manage acute and urgent medical conditions in a Level 4 trauma setting
• Perform ED procedures and interventions appropriate to scope of practice and facility resources
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and utilize 24/7 support services (anesthesia, surgery, radiology, lab)
• Document patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic health record
• Deliver patient-centered, compassionate care consistent with emergency medicine best practices
