Physician - Hematology Oncology

Job Details:
  • Locum tenens coverage needed for weekly Monday through Friday shifts from July 13 through August 25
  • Practice setting is primarily inpatient with some outpatient coverage to support physician vacation
  • Average patient census of 12-15 patients per day in the hospital setting
  • Adult patient population
  • Clinical areas include inpatient oncology, outpatient oncology, and hematology
  • Oversight of a Nurse Practitioner (NP) is required
  • Willingness and interest in enrolling patients in research studies is required
  • Call coverage is required
  • Documentation via EPIC EMR
  • Active Virginia (VA) medical license required
  • Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology required
  • BLS certification required
  • Clean background required; NPDB self-query report must be submitted at time of presentation (pulled within 30 days)
