Opportunity:
Physician - Hematology Oncology
Job Details:
- Locum tenens coverage needed for weekly Monday through Friday shifts from July 13 through August 25
- Practice setting is primarily inpatient with some outpatient coverage to support physician vacation
- Average patient census of 12-15 patients per day in the hospital setting
- Adult patient population
- Clinical areas include inpatient oncology, outpatient oncology, and hematology
- Oversight of a Nurse Practitioner (NP) is required
- Willingness and interest in enrolling patients in research studies is required
- Call coverage is required
- Documentation via EPIC EMR
- Active Virginia (VA) medical license required
- Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology required
- BLS certification required
- Clean background required; NPDB self-query report must be submitted at time of presentation (pulled within 30 days)
