Job Description
Pediatric Cardiovascular Anesthesiologist to provide locums coverage in a high acuity pediatric program at a children s hospital located in Central Illinois. Please see the details below:
- Start August 2026 and ongoing
- $548/hour, $1,280/night Call, $2,200/24 hour Call
- Will accept candidates needing IL license
- Minimum 1 year experience required
- ACLS, BLS, PALS required
- Estimated 20 shifts per month available
- Weekday coverage 7a-3:30p possibly 5p and Weeknight Call
- Weekend coverage: 24-hour Call anticipating being onsite around 4 hours
- Providers available for 5-7 day blocks preferred
- Full support staff available
- Travel, lodging, malpractice insurance provided
Provider must be comfortable performing the full scope of pediatric anesthesiology, including pediatric general anesthesia cases, pediatric cardiac anesthesia, congenital heart surgery cases, cardiopulmonary bypass ( pump ) cases, cardiac catheterization lab procedures, and additional pediatric surgical and procedural anesthesia as needed.
