Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens general and OB anesthesia role in Phoenix, Arizona. This locum tenens opportunity is ideal for a confident provider who enjoys a fast-paced environment, flexible scheduling, and a variety of OB anesthesia and general OR cases.

• Contract Duration: 26 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 36+ hours
• Shifts per Week: Typically 3 to 4 shifts per week
• Schedule: Flexible coverage across days, nights, and at least one full weekend shift per month as needed
• Setting: Supervised anesthesia model with coverage in OB and OR
• Openings: 2

• Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience in a hospital setting
• Current OB anesthesia experience required
• Comfortable managing high-risk obstetric cases
• Experience with pediatrics and neuro head cases preferred
• Board certified within the last 5 years
• Valid CRNA certification
• Ability to provide a current, complete CV with all gaps explained
• Must be eligible to see Medicare patients and enrolled in Medicare, or willing to complete enrollment during credentialing
• Clean background, malpractice, and license history preferred for timely credentialing
• Arizona CRNA license preferred; credentialing may begin with a pending license

• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care in a supervised model across OB and OR settings
• Support a variety of shift needs, including days, nights, and weekend coverage
• Manage routine and high-risk obstetric anesthesia cases with confidence
• Deliver anesthesia services for general and specialty surgical cases
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the anesthesia care team to support smooth patient flow and excellent outcomes
• Remain flexible to cover changing departmental needs, including straight night coverage when required
