Diagnostic Radiologist Locum Tenens Central Illinois
Location: Central Illinois
Setting: Outpatient, Multispecialty Group Practice
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. (No Call)
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Position Overview
A well-established multispecialty group in Central Illinois is seeking a Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist to provide locum tenens coverage in a busy outpatient imaging setting. The ideal candidate will have strong general radiology skills and the ability to interpret CT, MR, and general diagnostic studies. Preference will be given to candidates located within driving distance of the area.
Assignment Details
- Practice Type: Multispecialty Group
- Licensure Requirement: Active Illinois Medical License
- Certification: Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology (BE/BC)
- Average Volume: Approximately 100 reads per day (flexible depending on modality and provider comfort)
- Modality Mix: CT, MRI, and general diagnostic studies (no biopsies required)
- Support: On-site PACS/IT support staff
- EMR Systems: EPIC, Radiant, Clario, and Powerscribe
- Environment: Outpatient only no inpatient, no call, no procedures
Credentialing & Requirements
- Licensure Active IL or IMLC LOQ in hand.
- Processing Time: Approximately 30 days (expedited possible for locum role)
- Pre-employment Requirements: Drug screening, mask fitting, and immunization review
- Hospital Privileges: Outpatient clinic only (no travel to affiliated hospitals required)
