Job Description
A health services network in New Jersey is seeking a licensed Occupational Medicine Physician for a 3-month travel assignment. providing temporary coverage in a fast-paced occupational health setting.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 7am to 4pm
- Setting: Occupational Health
Responsibilities:
- Conducting occupational health evaluations and exams
- Performing DOT physicals and documentation
- Interpreting EKGs and Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs)
- Providing basic suturing and wound care
- Managing work-related injuries and return-to-work evaluations
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Active New Jersey Physician License
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Occupational Medicine
- DOT certification
- Comfortable performing minor procedures and diagnostic tests
- Efficient in EMR documentation using Cority
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Adaptable and flexible to changing situations
Desired Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Occupational Medicine and/or Urgent Care
- Advanced Degree in Medicine
- Additional certifications in Occupational Health
- Proficiency in digital record systems
