What You ll Do
  • Provide Emergency Medicine physician coverage in a busy hospital ED
  • Deliver care for all ages in a high-volume setting
  • Work collaboratively with APP support to maintain efficient patient flow
  • Utilize Cerner EMR documentation to support clinical decision-making and continuity of care
  • Participate in emergency department operations including triage, evaluation, and treatment across presentations
  • Ensure timely, evidence-based care while meeting departmental and regulatory expectations
  • Maintain required clinical standards and documentation throughout each shift

  • Board Certification (required)
  • State license: required (will consider IMLC or WV temporary license)
  • DEA: required
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS

About the Assignment
This assignment provides Emergency Medicine coverage in a hospital emergency department with 10 ED beds. Coverage needs include shifts per month, with a mixed day/night schedule and APP support to help ensure smooth operations in a high-acuity environment.
